I have the economy tuner from ppe and i ran the 120 tune and although the shifts were harsh and sucked if you ask me they do get better with time. I am used to the 90 tune. It is where i keep it all the time, and towing in 90 tune is great power and shift patterns. You will like the power but higher tunes as with any tuner your tranny hates you. Truck will sound stock atleast mine does.

i think anything over level 3 and your trans is on borrowed time. I drive like an old lady on 3, and won't be loading a bigger tune till I get the stage III trans..;) Just my 3 cents.

its all common sense. think like this, anyone can roll an uncooked egg across the floor but raise your hand up off the floor and try to bounce it to get it to roll, it breaks. You are adding power not specifically designed for that truck and its components. UNless you build the truck and pretty much all of it you are going to break something eventually with the real high hp tunes. Keep it low and take it easy and long live the dmax!

Oh yeah sorry yes just ease into it without a hard shift. It may shift but when it does let up until it does then cruise on by. U will be surprised to see how fast you go around people.
