Thinking of going back to the 5068 IP that was originally in my truck.

I tried searching for "replacement IP", "IP Replacment recommendation", etc... but no luck.

So, I have a 5068 core that is junk and could be rebuilt if necessary (if someone knows a place that does rebuilding your own cheaper with a good reputation).

Or, I could just buy a rebuilt 5068 as well.

Any recommendation of good vendors with a good reputation for the rebuilds?

I've heard stay away from dieselcare... others?

Heath has brand-new ones... Kennedy talks about them, so he can probably get them...

Actually, I imagine most of our vendors either have them or can get them.

Go through the vendors list and give them a call...

Westers has them, I think SSDieselsupply has them too.

SSDiesel has them listed for $600 and change - actual rebuild 5068 pumps, minus the PMD.

I find that their service is top-notch. We've gotten many GM replacement parts there. I would not, however go there for power/performance parts, or PMD relocators.

I would call it a regular replacement part.

I've had good luck so far with my reman ip from SS diesel. I have only 10k miles so far so not much long term testing.
