I JUST PURCHASED A 2005 GMC 2500HD AND IVE READ ALOT ABOUT TECH 2 LATEST UP DATE BUT WHEN I CALL DEALER THEY DONT KNOW WHAT VERSION AND WHAT PROBLEMS ARE YOU GUYS HAVING THAT IT MAY CURE DOES ANY ONE HAVE SPECIFIC INFO

I took my '05 in for the update - did'nt need it - already had it. Mine was built the week of september 28, 2004

My truck was built Aug 4 and it's a 05 model, dealer said it already
had the update, asked how's that since it came out in Sep. Looked at me
funny and said it has it already so I give up.

the 05's I have seen were current
