i just found some paperwork on the replacement engine that was put in my truck by the last owner. the problem is, all the gm catalogs online stopped listing info on the 6.2 a couple years ago, and started listing the 6.5 as a universal replacement of sorts. anyways, i wondered if anyone had any details on the part number "23500143". thanks if anyone can shed some light, or maybe has a copy of an old gm catalog or whatever.

oh, and the date of installation was 11/20/91, about 40000 miles ago if it makes a difference.
