I removed the plastic skid thing in front and saw where some of the green antifreeze I poured in 3 weeks ago had been running down the lower radiator hose. When I cranked it and looked under it, there was all sorts of antifreeze coming out of that hole (it's not exactly easy to see).

So, maybe I don't have leaking head gaskets after all.

But...I squeezed on the bottom hose and could hear something happening up top (while engine off). When I crawled out from underneath, my top radiator hose was collapsed.

So, have I got two problems here: 1) water pump and 2) coolant lid? Which one is making my engine (and trans) run hotter?

I say fix the water pump first. Then if needed change the cap.

Also, this may be a stupid question but I hope you did a full flush before you added green coolant right?

Uh, nope. Didn't really have a choice. It was that or water. Do I need to drain it and refill or is it okay until next week's pump R&R?

Green will not mix with orange well. I have seen a lot of reports that it will gell and cause a sludge. I just did a google search though and some said it will not sludge be it will be more corrosive to the aluminum. Check the bottle that you added, much of the new antifreeze out there is universal.
