Well i got all 8 new injectors about two weeks ago, new fuel filter and new oil/filter. Ran great, a little quieter and avg mpg. Now its back to its old tricks. First thing in AM, just cranks. I go back twenty minutes later starts right up and runs great for rest of the day. I pull off bleeder screw at fuel filter and plenty of fuel comes out, no air. I have no leaks, no smells, no smoke. any ideas? there's gotta be something else that is making it loose its prime overnight. originally the dealer told me the injectors were leaking enough to cause all fuel to return directly to tank and loose prime, but im convinced there is an air leak somewhere, causing it to loose its prime. also, WIF sensor is tight, filter is tight, all the obvious things are checked and perfectly fine. i need help b/c my reputable dealer is over an hour away, and having been w/o the truck for two weeks for the injectors i cannot deal with that again unless necessary.

Do you have to prime any at all in the morning......if so is your truck parked on a incline?..Front of truck pointed higher than rear? I have heard that fuel will go back into the fuel tank if something is wrong, I wished I could remember what part controls this...

Always getting fuel immediately if i try priming before starting in am. Actually past couple days w/o priming it started fine again. Ive had new injectors, filters, everything within the last 1k to alleviate this problem per the dealer. All sensors are plugged in and tight and it sits on the slightest of the slightest inclines with the truck nose sitting higher than the rear end. Its been parking like that for two years now and never a problem til about a month ago.

Have you pulled the codes with a code reader?

I've been having that problem also. Started backing into the driveway and had no more issues. I'm getting my truck back today from having AN injector and 3 glow plugs replaced. I'll check to see if it still does this. I don't think it has anything to do with the injectors since you're still having problems after all 8 were replaced, and mine started doing this only 1 month after I had all 8 replaced (when I moved to a place w/driveway). It's been over a year since this has started and this most recent injector started going out 1 month ago. I would check all fuel lines and make sure they're tight. I haven't done this because I started backing into my driveway and haven't had it happen again. It also does not drain back if I have a full tank... Just my $0.02

Have you tried boosting it. Mine would do the same thing, but boosting the drivers side battery would work.
