OK guys I am going to start making biodiesel but not sure when. I need to put together a very inexpensive processor so If anyone has a pic or 2 of one to get or make I would really appreiate it. It started out to fuel just me but as the word was out there are about 6 guys that want to buy it
(only the summer moths tho due to below 0 temps). I was wondering where to find the place to get chemicals as well and the handbook if you will to making bio. I have a friend who makes it but he is in Iraq right now but due home sometime this month and he is going to show me his setup and walk me thru the whole deal.
Anyone have any ideas or help for me that wouldn't mind sharing?
I have a guy that has emailed me some pics and am going to talk to him shortly. (thanks Terry)
Thanks again guys

Again sorry but is there any kind of heater that comes off the coolant lines for heating the bio b4 it gets to the filter? I guess for cooler months. Just curious but not going anywhere near that right now due to relying on truck for snowplowing. I have very bad luck alot the times, lol

Nothing has to be done to the engine. I have run 100% homebrew the truck like about 75% better. Wouldn't try it with an LMM but an LBZ is fine.
Start with small batches and get ready for alittle frustration. Took me 1.5 yrs to make good brew. It really helps if you can watch the process of someone who has been doing it for awile.
Methanol can be gotten at speed shop or possibly local racetrack.
Lye can be gotten at some hardware stores but,it is getting harder to find.

maybe a local feed store might have the lye. It probably is hard as hell to get it shipped these days i bet.
My buddy comes home from Iraq this month he says he is going to show me what he did and watch him make a batch or 2.

Did you buy a processor or make one?
