Has anyone installed one of these gadgets? Any problems with the valve coming open when you don't want it to?

I've heard nothing but good stuff about the fumoto. I just find
removing the stock plug with a 3/8" square drive is about as convenient
as I need.

The Cummins is so much easier to drain than the Duramax you don't need it.

I enjoy the Fumoto because I save my old oil jugs, and drain the engine oil into them for recycling. Seems like I always spilled, using a drain pan, and then had to transfer to the jugs, anyway. I just eliminated a step, the only downside, to me, is the oil drains slowly, but I have patience.

Now that's a good idea!

I think it is the neatest thing since sliced bread. I don't even get dirty at all anymore when I change the oil. Just hook up some tygon tubing, then open the valve and drain it into your recycle jugs like mbatte. You can also take samples if you want to for analysis. . . super easy. For 20 bucks, you won't even miss that one out of your wallet.

i like having enough under my truck to slide a 4 gallon pail under there, and slide under there myself to drop the oil and filter, without doing anything to the truck [ramps. jack...]. my pop's silverado sits low enough i need to drive the front on ramps to work under it

I don't put a 55-gallon drum under there, but I can fit a 1 gallon jug no problem. . . I guess the 285's on H2s are helping there. . . .When one is full, I shut the valve and change jugs. Having a couple jugs in hand is a nice thing, hoot.):h
