I just had a shop install my cognito 7-9" lift with deaver springs in the rear. I just noticed that they removed my hitch receiver bar. I did not know anything about this. I have a bass boat I need to tow. Was this necessary?

It was to install the Deaver Springs, but it should have been re-installed.

NOT NECESSARY! Get it back and have them install it. I have same set up and tow.

You have to temporarily remove the hitch to gain access to the rear shackle bolts. Maybe the tech forgot to put it back on. Go back to the shop before your hitch ends up in the scrap pile.
