hello diesel experts i am looking to buy a used diesel to tow a 2007 cherokee lite 5th wheel 11700 30ft i have never owned adiesel before and looking at the duramax 2005 to 2007 can anyone help me for the size i should be looking at. is there any recalls i should worry about any information would be very helpfull. thanx much.....(bill)

I pull a 10000lb 5th with an 04.5 LLY and a horse trailer. I just hit 46,000 miles and so far, knock on wood no problems. Good luck with your search, at least you are looking in the right place!

just a quick suggestion. Get a dually. I've never pulled a 5ver but everything I read on DP suggests the dually is more stable and there's no question it can carry the hitch load. If you pull a lot, the advantages will far outweigh not being able to drive through an ATM.
