I have an 03 LS 3500 and have installed my guages pod. I had them on an 01 and had elec power for the lights controlled by the light switch that was on the under dash elec block. However on the elec block under the dash of the 03 I cannot find a connector that is switched on with the light switch. I have power that is switched by the ignition but and is dimmed by the dash light dimmer control. (I haven't figured that one out yet.) The power for the pyrometer is ign switched but prefer fused circuits. On the fuse panel on the side of the dash I cannot find a light circuit to use. I can get ign sw power thru a fuse however.

Where are you guys getting light power and dimmed control from? The 01-02 fuse and elec block is different than the 03. Need HELP!!!!

chevmeister, where do you want to get it? Igntion switch wiring is easy. You can get it in the junction block under the dash, behind the fuse panel and many other places.

You can use the brown or orange at the ignition switch. Brown will go on in the accy position, orange won't.

You can get the dimming wire at any of the switches. It should be brown/white.

Yes you could do that. If you find one that goes on and off with the key you need to make sure that it is not park lights or instrument lights. Since they will come on when you turn the key on they can give you the illusion that you have an ignition wire.

Ooops , forgot about the white stripe, good catch Tony. Shaun, you
may have and extra circuit on two in you fuse block, like Rear wipers
or other SUV stuff. If so you can just use a fuse tap and be done....
