One last question before I go pullin this weekend guys. I will have it in 4LO and set the gear selector in 3rd TH on right? So if I am thinking right it will start out in first, quickly shift to second then when I get 100-150ft it will hit third?? Then she will downshift as needed towards top end? I also remember seeing someone say to throw it in neutral when you let off at the end??? One more thing haha. On my attitude I have it set so I can see what gear it is in and tc lockup. Will my tc be locked the whole pull or what? I dont know a whole lot about trannys. Thanks a ton guys! You have no idea how much of a help you have been!:D CHRIS

Yes.
Yes.
If it downshifts to second, you're probably done anyway. Just bump it to neutral and then let off the fuel. It'll spin your motor for a brief blip but it'll keep you from barking the charger. If you just let off, it'll bark and sometimes it'll die if you're making mucho traction.

Without a CoPilot or something like that, you have no way to modify the lockup characteristics, except those changes that come with selecting tow/haul. It's gonna lock up in second and 3rd on its own, don't worry about it.

Don't worry, you won't be lookin' at your gauges either. Just wood it and keep your eyes on the track and flagman.

X2...but what do I know I've only gone to one pull so far.

If the track is loose you may not downshift.

Lookin' at your gauges?...what gauges?
