: Wally world?
WAskier 11-15-2004, 01:20 AM Sorry if this isn't in the right forum, I just didn't know where to post a topic/question? like this. Anyway I keep on noticing references to wally world. Usually when someone asks where to get a filter or various oils. What is wally world? I've never seen one in my life nor can I find anything about wally world online. Is it like a walmart?
Bingo, wally world = walmart
jholly 11-15-2004, 01:33 AM Is it like a walmart?

baimpala 11-15-2004, 07:36 AM Don't take this the wrong way WAskier, I think it's funny.
It's amazing some of the things we say and take for granted every day, like Wally World, Juice, Attitude, etc. that some people have no idea what the he|| we are talking about. Sometimes we take too many things for granted. Navy life is the epitomy of this, there are more acronyms in Navy life than there are normal words, I think. Especially in the Nuclear Power program. . .

WAskier 11-15-2004, 11:57 AM Hey Baimpala, no worries, from working in the bike industry (read bicycles not motorcycles) I use words all the time that no one has a clue what I'm talking about. I know exactly how you feel. Good to know what wally world is though!
flivver 11-15-2004, 04:40 PM Or as Matt Groening calls it:
SPRAWL-MART!
403turbo 11-15-2004, 04:52 PM And or those of you that we are assuming, know who matt groening is......but do not.........he is the creative or serverly twisted mind behind The Simpons TV show.
dmaxfan 11-16-2004, 08:34 AM That's where I get my oil changed. Where else can you go to get 10 quarts of oil, greased zerts, top off fluids and vacuum out the floor boards for only $25?
BlueOx03 11-16-2004, 09:50 AM This is kinda funny...
You can tell dennis isn't as hard core navy as he claims...a real Navy

Then I took her to the Zoo. Yep, I am kinda swavvey and deboner!
AndrewFessler 11-16-2004, 04:26 PM Waskier, no worries.
