I just got a PPE Xcelerator, Hot version today. Went to plug it into the OBD port, and I have no power. It's not the downloader's fault, because it gets power in my friends truck. Any help would be appreciated.

First thing to check is your fuse panel( Your cigarette lighter fuse may be blown) which in turn wont give power to this. If that is not it then check your OBD11 port and make sure nothing is jammed inside of it and clean it out if it wont quite go on. Have you ever ran a programmer in this truck before because sometimes the prongs break off. You may also have a defective port. Has the dealer ever hooked up a scan tool to check anything. This will tell you if the port is good but I guess it could be bad. Let me know or hopefully someone else knows. Good luck

X2, on the fuse, I had the problem once. Wasn't a penny though, but it was blown fuse problem....

You guys are my new best friends. The cig. fuse was the problem. I installed the programming, set it on level six, and haven't wiped the grin off of my face yet. I appreciate the help, never would have thought of that fuse being the problem.

Will do. However, I'm a poor college student and it might take me a while to save up.
