Hi, I just replaced my powersterring pump because it was leaking. I checked sterring after I replaced pump and all was well. I decideded to replace brake fluid(140k). Well I put fresh fluid in and bled out fluid through front brakes. In the process of bledding brakes I felt motor pull down for couple seconds and maybe some belt squeal for second?. I went to back out the truck after fresh fluid and had very hard sterring and hard brakes? Truck is 93 6.5 Is my new sterring pump bad? I checked fluid in pump its ok. I don't get it any input would be great. Peachyhd

If you worked out all the bubbles and it was working then suddenly stopped I would suspect the pump has failed. If you had any kind of warranty, exchange it for a fresh one and try again.
