i own a 2007 lbz sierra classic im looking to do a turbo upgrade where i can still run good times at the track, where i could tow if needed, plow snow and stilll be a daily driver any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Have you experienced life w/ a tuner before you go out and spend that kind of money...? the stock turbo by no means is the best ever made, but, is capable of some pretty decent power.

What other upgrades do you have on your truck? It would be a good idea to make out a sig so we can see what you have to start with. Your lbz should be able to do over 500 rwhp on tuning alone but you definatly need a transmission upgrade to do that. A turbo upgrade is really only needed if you want to go really big power.

As far as charge choices the htt or gt40 seem to be highly regarded on this sight as good all around charges (good for street/towing/racing).

I have a bd supermax which was a decent upgrade on my truck but I would go a different route with what is now available.

I can't say enough good about my 4088 from PPE. I sled pull, tow and drive set on kill w/ my hot+2. Saturday night I unhooked from the sled hooked onto a 30ft gooseneck with a broken ton crew cab Ford and came home from Terre Haute with the cruise on 80 and the tuner still on kill. I never saw over 1300 (except when I was speeding up) on the pyro and rarely over 1200 on some good hills on a 5 hr drive home.

What are your drag times with that turbo?

You should see what you can get out of the stock turbo first.

The LBZ's are stupid easy to get power out of, with a stock turbo. People are running mid-high 12's with a completely stock engine and stock turbo.
