Where do I start. I had my trans. rebuilt about a year ago bye Mr. Transmission that was my first mistake. They charged $3800.00 to do a complete rebuild. Kinda high considering a reman is just under $3000.00. It came with a one year warr. In that time they have replaced the NSBU switch 4 times. The last time the mgr. said that they had put in the new upgraded switch. The week after the warr. run out it happened again. That's when I ran across this website an did some digging on NSBU switches and found some pics. Found out the trans. shop did'nt do what they said in putting the upgraded switch in. One of the threads said to go to my allison dealer insted of the chevy dealer to get the part. It was only $51.00 at the allison dealer lot better than the $350.00 at chevy dealer. Read the thread that told me how to install. Climed under truck in 10 min. The problem was fixed. Went to Advance Auto they cleared my codes and I was good to go. The new upgraded switch made my truck shift smoother and it took care of my problem.
