So... I was screwing around with burnouts earlier today. I was in a good one, but I didn't ride out of it as I had no space. I let off the accelerator and I could feel the tires grab twice before they quit spinning. I was in third when I was doing.
My question is how much damage if any have I done to my drivetrain and anything else? I realize is bad but t's thge first time, next time ill make sure to ride it out!
Thanks, Brent

Aside from the obvious tire and brake wear, your G80 will cease to function with minimal repeated abuse.

Pretty much can promise your gonna destroy your tranny doing 3rd gear burnouts. Im suprised it didnt happen then, when the tires grab it creates tons of stress on moving parts.
Haha, well I can see how it can't be good on the tranny, but I was told by some to throw it into 3rd before you start as doing any burnout in 4/5th is way worse. I guess maybe I didn't break anything because I let out of the throttle pretty easy? I just didn't all of a sudden let it go! Live and learn right.

I just put up a reminder for myself not to buy your truck if there is anything left of it when you go to sell it.:D
