Talked to diablosport last week, they said they would write a custom tune for duramax for racing. Just wondering if anyone has done this or knows of someone that has. They will write the tune then keep changing things till your happy. I dunno maybe worth a try?

when i had my predator back in 2002 they did this for me a few
times. they did improve it a bit, but it always made too much
heat for the amount of power so i ended up selling it..

one time fee of $120, i figured that surely they have figured out how to make more power as everyone else has.....I know there normal tunes have gotten better than they were....IMO they can run with just about anyone with the same advertised horse tunes.. Just a thought I may give it a try. Its alot cheaper than going out and buying another box. If it dont work im only out $120.

DIESEL POWER, how did you sell yours?? Aren't the locked to our truck once they're loaded?? If I decide to sell mine, it would be nice to know how I could.. Thanks..

They sent me some tunes back when they only had the 100hp tune out. I had some 01 issues with mine, the tunes they sent me fixed this and I got some higher hp tunes for testing the other tunes towing. I think they pretty much just sent me the 120hp tune before they released it. Might be worth it if they could get you a pretty decent tune.

For $120.00, IMHO you have to give it a try. Of course there is freight both ways for every tune, and the agonizing wait. How do you propose to test each tune? Drag strip or Dyno?

i would say drag strip.....would be cheaper than a dyno, just go do test and tune for $20. They e-mail u the tunes then u upload to your tuner so no freight.Edited by: hdd-max

you don't send your tuner back.. you download the flash utility and they email you vin-locked files. at least that what they did for me a couple years ago.

i didn't send it back when i sold it.. i sold it as an OBD functionality only for $100..
