I am going to go with a 4" and no duels. MBRP, Magnaflow, Diamond Eye, or Banks which one if any is liked the best. How much of a difference is there between the aluminized, T-304, and T-409? I have got prices from $397.78 - $770.08

Just a comment...........GA doesn't have bad snowy weather so the T-409 would be my choice.........unless you like the BLING-BLING factor of T-304..........

I have had a Banks and liked it and now have the MBRP T-304 Cool Duals and really like the exhaust.

Magnaflow comments have been that it is loud.......I do not know much about diamond eye.

Most vendors here sell exhausts , I advise you to check them all out for the best exhaust that fits your needs and budget.

Good Luck

I got a line on a used (6mos) Banks 4" Stainless Steel. From the Turbo back. IS that a good deal?? Or should I just drop the dime for a new one??

I just did the straight pipe and spent about $50 bucks to do it.. Still looks stock, sounds nice and saved myself $500.... Edited by: GMC2500HD

I bought and aftermarket exhaust and then stright piped it myself. What does that make me?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif No muffler and a 5" tail pipe(no tiphttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif) sounds good though. Aluminized aint a bad way to go. I wish sombody would make an aluminized system with a shiny polished stainless tail pipe(no tip, the part from the muff ler back)

I have often thought of sending mine off to get chromed for the added bling but its going to turn black anyway righthttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif

BUCKSHOTjr,

Check out the review that was done on this site a few months ago:

MBRP Cool Duals T-304 (http://dieselplace.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11123&PN=1)

It gives you a lot of insight in the systems by MBRP. If you want a single 4 inch system, the install is easier and the cost is less as well. Call us if you have any questions etc.

I got the Summit 4" from their demo room. $125. Couldn't pass that up. I bought the 45° bend 5" bully dog tip from Jegs to top it off. It fit perfectly, and looks great.

the magnaflow 36"oal muffler i have on my 4in system is VERY quite. it magnifies the turbo whistle more than anything. no drone, not much louder than stock. i replaced the muffler that came with my summit system because of the horrible drone and overall obnoxiusness of that setup. i imagine the jegs system would be similar.

i talked to a guy about a month ago who had what he said was a bullydog
exhaust. it looked great and sounded even better. didnt not sound any
louder(well maybe slightly louder) than stock when he was revving
it up in park. he had an LLY. it had a stainless tip which said
silverline on it. i do not like stainless tips for the most part but
this one looked pretty nice. any body have this exhaust? wil

A friend of mine has SS304. Now, it's always dirty with road grime.

Do the Banks or MBRP. I did the Banks because I couldn't pass up the price. Lifetime Warranty was also a plus.
