Well i was lookin at it 2 by and i wanted a LB7 but now i have to think about it thanks guys

is there another way to tell what motor i have? because all the pics i've seen it looks like a LLY but idk.

Why would you rather have an LB7?

Buy the lly and buy the v2 rad if you tow heavy in mountains if your concerned about over-heating, instead of paying for very expensive injectors in the lb7. Don't want to sway you too much though b/c both are great mototrs! JMO.

Black_Dmax you have an LB7 because your truck is an 03 no ifs ands or buts about it.

You can also look for the big EGR tube and at the injectors and the turbo to tell if you have an LB7 or LLY. Basically there is alot less "junk" in the Lb7s engine comp.

ok i thought it was a lb7. but after looking at pics in a mag, mine looked like an lly but i dont care about the injectors b/c its under warr. i just dont know if they changed the motor and didnt tell me?

The lb7 is the only one with a wastegate off the tubro on the left side if u are looking from the front that will be a dead giveaway
