How much TranSynd should I purchase to reliably flush and refill the A1000 in my '04 HD? Also, what filter brand should I purchase. Does anyone know of the best place in North GA to get this at?

NOT, please explain how two drain and fills will get anywhere close to 100%. There is just too much left in the T/C, cooler, and lines to mix each time. Even 3 won't get as close as the "hoot" method does. And you will still have enough left from the 5 gal. to change the transfer case and a few future filter changes. mpdlt 08-31-2007, 07:32 PM Think the manual says the system holds around 5 gallons. Get the filter from an Allison dealer, that way you get the real thing for much cheaper than anything else. Find them on the Allison web site. I don't think theres one close to you. The closest one is over in NW Ga close to Chattanooga, Tn I think. I haven't been to it but remember seeing it on Allisons website.
