In a Nut Shell-I have the following Upgrades: 45 Gallon Transfer-Flow Fuel Tank (replaced stock 26G unit), 20in Eagles with 285/55/20 Nitto Dune Grapplers (was able to enter the new circumference in the Edge Attitude Controller), Edge Juice/Attitude Controller, Gibson 4" Exhaust. Ok so I do a lot of towing with my Fifth wheel and would like accurate information from the OEM computer. The things got more memory than the entire Apollo 11 capsule so How come I get the same BS answer at the dealer that they Cannot: "Tell the thing it has a 45G capacity fuel tank so I get proper fuel usage, fuel remaining data, etc.", "Tell it my new Wheel Circumference so it will display proper speed, rpm, miles per gallon, etc. Help...What gives. Can these Parameters be edited?

EFILive allows you to edit all of those parameters.

Many have done it especially in regards to reprogramming the fuel sending unit to 45 gallons. (Many people have put in aftermarket 45g tanks, i.e. Titan) in the SB.

(I'm almost there myself, 26 gallons is NOT enough fuel.)

Look in the EFI Live Forum, there should be someone there who can help you, I think they might even give you the tables and show you how to edit them.

With EFILive, the fuel tank re-calibration on the LBZ is something we are looking into, but it's not available at the moment (it is available for LB7 and LLY)

Tire size changes to correct speedo shouldn't be a problem.

Cindy,
This EFI Live stuff is a little over my head. Is it possible for me to simply drive over to a Tunning Shop of some sort give them a few $$$$ and take care of the parameters. Will the parameters hold, or is it possible the GM Service rep. could reset them during a normal servicing (oil change, tranny fluid change, etc.)?

Thanks,

We haven't investigated or released LBZ ECM locking, so once changes are made, the dealer can still "reflash" your ECM. This leaves you with a couple of options - either get a spare ECM when you get your custom tune and install the stock ECM for dealer visits, or invest in EFILive from a vendor that will customize your tune and reflash your ECM after your dealer visits.

Anybody nearby the 92833 Zip Code for Fullerton, CA. I would be interested in the EFI Live, probably would'nt mess with performance parameters, just the tire size and fuel stuff...........but you never know....Can the EFI Live compliment the Edge/Juice/Attitude Package? (Just be careful from what I am reading about the HP these things are cabable of). Thanks,

How about an LMM about to install a Titan tank and was wondering if the tank can be programed for it?

LMM fuel tank size will be looked at when we look into the LBZ fuel tank size.
