Ok, I have an Evo & PPE HOT+2...With the Evo on Level 4 I get 0 to barely any smoke, With the PPE on Level 4 I get a little bit of smoke, but only just enough to see it, not nearly enough to pi$$ anyone off though.

When I was having trouble with my True Flow Intake, it was soaking my MAF with Oil, thus giving me UBER SMOKE...and I mean ALOT, I could smoke out an intersection.

During my trouble shooting process after cleaning up the MAF, a memeber here told me to disconnect the MAF and see if the truck threw smoke, it did, plugged it back in, no smoke. Which led to believe the True Flow being over-oiled was the problem.

I then put the OEM Intake back on (how I am running now), cut out the Tornado and run with no Lid on it either. Truck runs FAR BETTER than it ever did with the True Flow. But I get almost no smoke AT ALL.

So....is there any FUSED LINK in any of the fuse boxes for ONLY the MAF that I can throw a switch on, so I can interrupt the power to it, throw crazy smoke, then click the switch and put everything back to normal?

Or is the only way to do this, to go right to the Harness on the MAF and put a switch on the power wire for it?

Just turn the hot+2 to level 6 and you will have all the smoke you need...

....as I shower the road with the internals of my Tranny :D

I wish I could experience Level 6..but I'm still on the fully Stock Trany, not even a TransGo JR is in there. There are no good Transmission shops in my area that anyone trusts.

PPE will build you a tranny and ship it to your door, cost a little more but allot less work and they know what there doing.

I run into this problem with mine at the current time because the MAF is disabled in my truck. Great for the pulling track, smokey on the street without fancy foot work. Mine was defueling because of a pegged MAF on the pulling track, that's why it's done this way.

So you just have yours disabled all the time and run like that with no Ill side effects...other than using more gas?

correct, once I deballs it from pulling mode and go back to hauling the dogs around I will re-enable it so I don't fill up the dog trailer with smoke

I tried unplugging my MAF sensor to get the "bonus" smoke effect, but all I got was a CEL and no extra smoke. Tried w/ both the 65hp and 100hp tunes and didn't matter. I'd like to be able to burp out some black smoke on demand w/ out frying the tranny. :D

Turbo removal/reinstallation is a little more work than I feel like just to get some smoke....... hmmmm remote control blow-off valve? SC IV and a PPE would be better.
