It's gonna be a while though. I went ahead and went with the PPE. Spoke with bullydog and you will have to get a new outlook monitor. For some reason the old outlook monitor isn't compatible with the LMM.

id say within the next month or so it will be going... and you would just need to get your outlook re programmed with the newest version

Love it. Mine has stock setting and 4 more on top of that. I believe its:

50-90-160-225hp. I run mine in level 2 most of the time. i do like it though I miss the triple dog on my LBZ with the out look monitor and shift-on-the-fly. But IMHO this is a better tuner. truck runs great!

I know Bullydog will have it out in a couple of months but it depends on if they run into any problems. I think you would really like the PPE however and or the EFI Live. I ran the Bullydog the past year and a half and I really like it because you can switch it in the cab while cruising down the road. One downfall is that you are killing your tranny. One minute you are running a economy tune and then the CRAZY LARRY TUNE and the tranny dosent have time to adjust and it may just start to hate you very much:D Trust me on that one:D :D . If you dont plan on crankin it up then it might be alright but it is REALLY tempting to see a little more smoke when the ricers come around. We all gotta play around sometime. You may also like the EFI live program even if you dont have the diesel background. Hope this helps

The Bullydog has the on the fly option which is awesome but its like putting someone on treadmill, then without telling them go from a slight walk to full bore cranked up power, somethings gonna go. Sorry for the long post and sorry if some others dont agree this is just my opinion

i like the on the fly option, but i agree with what you say about the trans.
im not really educated about efi live. i do like the ppe but its not enough power for me, and i need alot of extra fuel comming out of the exhaust for my nitrous kit :D i think im leaning towards efi live.

I loved the way you can just plug in the Bullydog into the OBD2 port and smoke out thoses Hondas by just scrolling and pressing enter but my tranny obviously didn't for some reason. I am just learning about EFI live and it seems like the way to go. I am no diesel expert by any means but the way everyone says, EFI live can and cannot be difficult. You just need to get over the first intial hump and you will be on your way to tuning your whole truck. I have been looking at many different EFI live options. They all seem good its just who you end up going with. I had many questions about EFI Live and I spoke with DuramaxTuner.com and he always had a quick response to any and all my questions no matter how stupid. Good luck

I thought I would throw my two cents worth in... Although my experience with the PPE is limited to be sure, I just don't see the need to change tunes on the fly. All my Dodge owning buddies (and one LBZ guy but I'm working on him) have the Edge setup with the monitor, and they all say how neat it is to be able to do this. For me this seems like just one more thing to have to deal with, so I've just left the PPE on level 4 and driven it. There doesn't seem to be a significant hit to the gas mileage under normal driving conditions (or any at all) , and when I want more power I exercize my right foot a bit and it's there.

Considering I don't tow that often (maybe two to three times a month), it's not that big a deal to go through a 3 minute upload for a safer tune, and then replace it when I'm done towing. Now if I towed everyday, I'm sure I would think differently, and that 3 minute upload would get old in a hurry. So to sum it up, your choice in tuners should probably be tied more to how you use your truck outside of other reasons or the need of having a cool looking display hanging in your truck somewhere... ;)
