Hi I have a 2006 chevy 3500 dully LBY
Can I inprove my mpg with a programer. I have a 2800 lb camper and pull a 20' car trailer with tool box loaded and a 3300 lb car. I get about 9.5-10. mpg can get better mpg with some aftermarket stuff or is this the best I can get. the truck has 13501miles on it

if you are just looking to improve your mpg you could go with a PPE economy programmer or a predator. both of them have good towing programs which should give you both more power and better fuel economy. probably should go with a free flowing exhaust sysyem also like an mbrp to keep the egt's a little lower while towing.

X2 :agreed: are there any other options:D i gained an average of 3mpg over stock doing just that,ppe and a silverline exhaust..

were can I check out or buy a PPE economy programmer and exh system

I get almost 2 mpg better then stock with my Kennedy Diesel tow/perf ecm reflash . It has great power , no black smoke , pulls my 10,000 lb holiday rambler threw the mountains NO problem at 70 mph up hill . And it works with a 100% stock truck/trans. Fuel mileage is better empty and towing , the trucks runs very much like a stock tune , instant responce also.
