Looks like 62 for no and 7 for yes - 2 for yes, if you don't add the 5 that DMAXALLITECH included cause he didn't include all the DMAX's he worked on that didn't have a blown head gasket.:D It would be interesting if someone at GM could look up the real numbers on these issues and post them. I wonder just how secure that information is. ya know a break down by year and milage.

I write mine off as one of the low stats. I believe I had a bad assy or gasket to start with. lp and juice popped it.

all three trucks gave no injetor problems as well, never heard any problems about head gaskets other than hoots, lp related and super diesel, running a strong methanal blend causing extremly high combustion pressures in the cylinder with his methanal water injection, don't woory, be happy

Looking over the list it shows likelyhood goes up between 100,000 and 150,000 miles.

As long as the failure rate in the 100-200,000 mile range is low then there is nothing to be worried about even after 100,000 miles. Unfortunately this poll is not a good cross section.
