Are you talking about lighting? The only wires needed for a mechanical boost guage are for the light. The boost signal itself is sent via tubing to the guage from the wastegate signal, compressor housing outlet, intake manifold, or the piping from the intercooler.

The EGT guage usually has a "controller" that needs 12v + and - in addition to the leads for the light for the guage. The EGT sensor usually has 2 wires that connect to the "controller".

The guage lighting signal is taken from a wire in the box close to where the clutch pedal would be. I think it's a brown wire. Using that wire will allow the guage lighting to work in conjunction with the instrument lights, including the dimmer.

I used the rear wiper fuse in the left hand fuse block. Very
close to the A-pillar and isn't used for our trucks. . . Just plugged
in a add-a-circuit and went straight up with it. I used mine for
the lights and the controller for the EGT, I don't use the dimmer too
much, and don't care if the gauges dim with the instrument cluster or
not.

turbo lcc,

Lots of folks use the dimmer circuit so that the gauges dim with the dash lights, all you need is to use a test light to see which if the wires dims the test light bulb as you run the dimmer circuit up and down. We also have a complete factory built wiring harness for gauge installations that includes the harness, shrink wrap, fuse taps, butt connectors etc. Between the harness and the spare parts bag you are pretty much set to go.
