04' LB7 has 4500 miles with Racor pre filter. Was cruising down I45 @65 mph from Houston to Dallas and exhaust began smoking. Short puffs for maybe 15 to 20 seconds. Noticed no power loss, gauges were all fine. Pulled over and found no apparent problems. Drove home another 200 miles and no problems. No hard starts, no smoke at idle.


Is this normal or something to be concerned? Bad fuel maybe? 1/4 in tank at the time.

What color was the smoke???

To tell the truth, I am not really sure. I was so busy trying to get out of the left lane, it did not really compute to take notice of the color.
