It would be a great if we could see your truck's profile. Different size ICs are being used depending upon application. TurbineDoc has been maybe one of our most brave by squzzing a Spearco IC intended for the 2500s and 3500s, into his 1500. Turbo Technology claims that their smaller IC provides good results. However, some folks report that they don't like the pathway for the pipe routing.

The core dimensions of the "Big" Spearco are approximately 25" x 7" x 4.5" thick.Edited by: spindrift

I've looked at the dodge and ford salvaged IC cores. They're bigger than the spearco and cheaper used but I'd have to get creative with a custom bumper to properly mount it into the front of the truck. I might have to change the chevy front clip to suite. gmdtd recently mounted a chausson truck IC core in his 80's truck. He had much more room to work with than the 92+ trucks have.

Here is what Spin is referring to IMHO fit the biggest IC in there that your tallents/wallets/logistics allow http://myweb.cableone.net/tbogemirep/ Fitting the IC generally isn't the problem it's the plumbing of it, you do lose some peak boost flowing thru the IC as there will be some low loss thru the core, less with a bigger IC, which is another pro for WMI. Which is better WMI or IC is really something you have to study seriously based on your your driving requirements, lower IAT regardless of the method is the goal.
