Are there any Alaska or Yukon Canada XM radio users out there? My rig came with XM, but am doubtful that it works well at these Northern latitudes. Anyone care to share their experiences with XM signal and reliability in the Northland, and especially Alaska?

Is XM Service available in Canada and Mexico?
XM is only licensed to provide service to the US (All states except Alaska and Hawaii), its territories and adjacent waters. XM's satellite signal reaches into portions of Canada and Mexico near the U.S. borders however, XM's service is not currently sold in Canada, Mexico or any other region outside of the continental United States.

I live in Carcross, Yukon 60 miles from Skagway, Alaska and both Sirius and XM work here and all over the Yukon right up to Tuktoyuktuk, NWT! XM seems to work even better that Sirius. Need any more info let me know.

YukonDmax, I need to know if there's been any accounts of XM or Sirius working farther east. Like Arviat (eskimo point), along the western coast of Hudson Bay. It's only 61 degrees north but it is way east of you.

Yes I am referring to Sirius. I can't tell you about XM however, I do not see a problem with it working over there. What is funny is that I lived in Revelstoke, BC near the U.S. Border and XM never worked there, very well and Sirius worked fine. I thought the farther north XM would get worse, XM seems to work as good or better than Sirius up here.
