Despite all the great information here and my request to install my AstroStart 701U to the start engine light, I let the installer talk me into connecting it to a timer. Worked ok last winter but I now want to do it right. The installer offered to make the change with no charge but they are over a hour away.

Couple of questions, 1) how involved would the change be and 2) where can I get a wiring diagram/install instructions since none came with the original?
