Seems that 130-ish additional HP is where the 1093 codes start to occur. Not sure if they'll find a way around it or if something can be done to increase fuel supply...

It is almost as if some sort of interface needs to be done on the FRP sensor, snapshots show wierd spikes in the readings that aren't there without a box. Although Danny told me that he suspected the relief was opening momentarily. That and increase the fuel supply as with anything running that much of an increase. Edited by: Max Payne

JK - why is that happening with the LLY ?? is it because of something in the PCM interface or because of the decreased injector size, 7mm IIRC, vs. 9mm for the LB7, again IIRC, thanks

I can trip P1093 on any level with the Juice. It is easier on the higher levels but I can trip it in level 2 with 2 or 3 applications of throttle.

Is the LLY always going to be a power blocking code popping truck?

No, there are ways to go over 500hp. It will get refined with time. By next summer you will see a lot of LLY's starting to compete with LB7s. Of course this is just my opinion. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif

That's what I thought. I know they didn't make the truck so you would have to leave it stock. I figure by March somebody will have tested the LLY to it's limits. There will be alot more power adders out by then.

Yeah.....just ask Banks! If you haven't already heard they are building a couple of Dmax race trucks.....all versions are LLYS! Proving once again...money can make it happen. It seems to me they choose the lly mainly because of injector location. Garret is making the turbos...plural!

My California truck will light the SES, and immediately go into a limp mode that will not let the engine rev over 2000 RPM.

LLY heads and injectors. Rest remains to be seen...

I'm wondering if it will be the same settings as the LB7 or have more power.

I am guessing it will be rated similar to the LB7 Hot juice (145hp) but it will likely not make as much power as the LBY hot box (160-180+). It will likely produce closer to what it is rated at due to limitations of the turbo an injectors. Of course this is nothing more then a guess.

Has anybody tested the turbo and injectors on the LLY yet? All these guys making stoopid power with stock turbo and injectors from LB7's. Still 145hp on an LLY is in the mid 400's right.

Well if you get at least a sc lvl 3 tranny upgrade with the current juice box you are making 410-420 hp @ the rear wheels. That is confirmed. That is already 160-170 over stock. On one box stock everything else in the engine compartment. Add the pup in and I would say at least 450 hp. It seems to run a lot stronger with the stack....how bout it Tbone?

not sure on the HP/TQ numbers as i havent had it on the rollers yet with the pup/edge setup - but it does rip and definitely runs better with the 2 stacked. I would guess that pup on level 2 and edge on 5 would be about 430-450?? rwhp with a built tranny.

Just imagine when more power adders come into play and someone will have it at 550rwhp or something. I didn't think the regular juice would do that much after a tranny mod. I plan to have at least 415-420rwhp a ways after I get mine, Tranny upgrade will have to come way before that though.
