Hi Gang,
I'm going to install McGaughys lowering kit on my 07.5 Sierra 2500HD. Will I loose my new truck warranty?
Thanks an advance.

the dealer needs to prove that the item you installed directly did the damage to the vehicle. so no.

You will lose parts of your warranty. Do not take your truck in for drivetrain vibrations or anything that was altered by the kit.

When I worked at a gmc dealer we had a kid with a lowered s15 come in with an abs ligh on. The wheel speed sensor wires had too much slack and they where rubbing on the frame. That was not covered since the truck was lowered. They would not have done it if it was stock.

You may have to pay for anything that was related to the fact that you changed the ride height from factory, tire wear, front end parts, vibs, etc...
