which wires would i look for? i looked at the ones on the brake pedal, looks ok, i guess.. i did notice that there is a harness that plugs into the back of the tranny pan, i noticed there was a little fluid comming out, pulled the connector pin loose and there was tranny fuild inside the connection.... is it suppose to be that way? or is there a seal bad? and what does that do?

Lift, big tires, programmer. Might be limping due to clutch slipping in 5th.

so i tried to reprogram my truck to level 2 and it kept telling me error code 24, to call hypertech... call them dude tells me that my computer needs to be reflashed. would that be causing my truck to shift like that? if so how much does a reflash cost?

I agree with Mike L. The P0741 is a torque converter stuck off code and is likely wiring related (open circuit). The TC circuit starts at the transmission and goes up to the transmission control module located on the driver's side of the fan shroud under a black cover. If you have a multimeter I'd start checking circuits:

At the transmission, pins S and J should read about 10.5 ohms at room temperature (it will be a little higher if it's warm or a little lower if it's cool). Also check the connector for push back pins or corrosion. Next check the wiring going back to the module. Pin S goes to J2-32 (red connector) and Pin J goes to J2-29 (also red). Tell us if anything looks out of the ordinary.

Good luck!
