Alright, got my edge juice w/ attitude on monday and installed it right away. Holy $hit, lots of power. So anyways, i removed it yesterday also b/c i wanted to route the wires better where the connectors plug in and plus i need to install the EGT Probe. Well today i was driving and when throttle up pretty hard i get balck smoke out the exhaust and it overall just felt more responsive. Remember this is without the edge installed. Now it isnt a huge amount of black smoke but its definatly there, and i couldnt see this before. When I installed the edge i adjusted the low boost fueling to 5. I never changed it back when i disconnected it.

Does the low boost fueling stay with the ECM or something? The truck feels more responsive and it throws black smoke (small amount of smoke), like the low boost fueling is still on level 5 with the edge installed.Edited by: 05DMAX

Is the juice still on or are both the attitude and juice off?

U sound like the attitude is off but juice is still on.

The juice box does the power the attitude just allows easy adjustment.

Alright, put the edge back in, put the low boost fueling to level 1 and put the edge on level 0. I still get definite visable smoke out the exhaust, that i didnt get before. Did the ECM like "re-learn" or something? In order to get any visable smoke before i would have to rev it to close to 3000 RPM under load at night, and have a cars headlights behind me. I dont think anything is wrong cause its definitly just diesel smoke (black soot smoke), any suggestions?
