pmd's run between $250 -$300 USD 3rd gen. 34583 series 345830206158

the optical pickup is $200-$260USD 007242022 or 33883 series

Fuel shops will be able to order them. An eletronic disel injection wholesaler would stock them.Edited by: quantum mechanic

If that sentence is supposed to end with a question mark, the answer is "no".

You can buy used ones off Ebay, but it's pretty risky to do so.

I just paid for a brand new 34583 pmd from my local GM dealer this morning. $234 ($225+tax). I know the dealership parts salesman, he gives me dealer prices on parts, I work with his wife, and he had it for me the day after I ordered it. As "shadey" as the IP and pmd parts business seems to be, I decided to buy the pmd from him even though you can buy "brand new" pmds off Ebay for $50 less.

I seem to recall someone on here saying that new pmds all come with a new wiring harness. I didn't get one with mine. It came with a new heat transfer pad, and new mounting screws, but no wiring harness. I wonder if GM doesn't hi-jack them out of the stanadyne kit to sell them seperately.Edited by: w_huisman
