I've had my truck for 2 years and have always had discomfort from my drivers seat on the lower cushion right side. I've had the dealer look at it several times and have even added high density foam to the seat cushion to no avail. I'm ready to switch trucks but I really like this one. I would normally install RECARO seats but can't figure out what to do to replace the integrated seatbelt system.
Does anyone know of any aftermarket seats, or other manufactures seat (F**d, D***e) that have integrated seatbelts and would fit in my 4 door DMAX?
Thanks for any help provided!

Been there done that. I have an '01 3500 and have been looking for different seats for almost 3 years. I have even gone to the big truck centers to see if any of the air-ride type seats would work. NOPE. I have been told that there is to much of a liability issue for light duty pickups. So, If you find any let me know.

32Ports,
You can try this place. I have sent them a couple of emails and have not heard back as of yet. I did send one again yesterday (10 Nov 04) no response. Good luck.

As a suggestion, if you can find a custom upholstry shop (usually can track one down through a custom rod shop) they might be able to modify the current framework and redo the seating area to your liking. I have seen some pretty good work done in custom hot rods so I would not know why it could not be done in our trucks. Or find a replacement seat from a wrecked truck and have them modify it and then bolt in place.

Heartbeat,
I talked to the seat company you listed today and they don't have seats with integrated seatbelts. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm thinking of having a "roll bar" fabricated to provide seatblet anchor points so I can use Recaro seats.
Thanks,
Henry
