Hey all. Looking at replacing the white head lights on mine and
the wife's vehicles. Been told that white lights are the worst
for reflecting off of moisture (snow, rain, fog)

Looking at maybe the blue one. Like BMW's.

Anyone running aftermarket light bulbs? What do you think of them? Make a difference?

I assume you mean you're thinking of swapping bulbs, not talking about swapping the housing to something like the Denali lens, or going to HID.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I swapped out all the stock bulbs for Sylvania Silverstar bulbs last year. Nice difference, quite a bit whiter/brighter, but I think the lens on our 02 models diffuses the light a little too much. I drive in the same province and don't notice reflections as a problem, but then again I never thought too much about it.

I'd like to swap the lense housing - brighter bulb and clear lens would make a better improvement, but ~250 USD is just too much for me.

Yes. I am just looking light bulbs.

Was looking at a set of after market driving lights (mine does not have
OEM fog lights) and sales guy said about the coloured lights.

Noticed driving along the highway , one night a few cars with blue
lights. Compared to other cars passing..... The blue ones
looked brighter infront of the car, on the road. And when they
come up behind you, or are going the opposite direction, they are
bright.

My thoughts. Wonder if is true?

Do a search for the max power light mod. Keeps all your bulbs on when you hit the high beams. Cost me under a buck for the diode and the shrink tubing and its nice and bright.
