wheres the extra power for the LLY's ??? is there anything being
developed that will allow us to compete with the LB7's ?? Im
hoping so but its very slow if it is happening - it also seems like the
LLY doesnt take to stacking as well either, what gives with that
?? has anyone had success with stacking 2 large tunes and having
it run good ? I know I can run the Power Pup on Level 2 and Edge
on 5, and it rips but comparing it to people with the LB7 who are
stacking a quad 215 with edge 125 or vice versa, or running the TTS
Extreme, were getting screwed here eh

I sent an E-Mail to the company that makes Super Chips on 11/08/05, asking them when they planned on releasing one of their hand held programmers for our 2005s with the LLY engine, I received the following reply this morning, it states that a Super Chips Micro tuner will be available for our trucks early next year, this was signed by the head of their sales dept, I would assume by early they mean around January or February of 2005, although this may not be the product your interested in, may I suggest you try and find the main Web site or E-mail address of the company who's product your interested in, and drop them a line and inquire when they intend on having it released for sell.

Tbone, mine runs as good as a stock tranny will let it . If i had a tranny mod im sure i would be in the high 13s with just 2 little boxes !

Someone was running 14.6's with the Va LLY tester and someone else was running low 14's with the new predator programmer which, from what I read, is right there with the LB7 with a similar performance upgrade.

TS performance has something in the works as well I beleive. I really think with a tuner and edge and a beefed tranny somebody will run a high 13 drag run relatively easily. Not bad for one year. There will be plenty as time goes on.
How bouts some nitrous on top of all that..we are really not that far behind.Edited by: dpower

thanks guys - i think youre right, good things are just around the corner, its just going to take someone breaking down the barrier on the LLY's ( Read TTS ). i also think i might even be able to get into the high 13's with the stack im running right now, havent tried it yet, but with the pup on level 3, edge on 5 with low boost on 1 or 2 max, is fast as hell and runs well, although i think a fuel pump and pickup is in order for running that stack as well. Ill just patiently await the next big thing http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

Are you still getting turbo bark with the stack? Mine will even with pup on setting 1. I gotta get rid of it. I will be doing some testing with the Predator this weekend to see if it is more compatible with the Edge. Lets hope so. The popcorn machine under my hood is getting a little annoying.

TS Performance is making a box that taps into the MAP sensor. It will most likely be a 0-100 HP box with an adjustable knob. It should stack pretty well. Triple stackhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Rock On.gif
