ABS, ! P lights and SBS in DIC came on when i went to startup after picking up 2 full 55gal drums.drove 20-25miles to the place w/no prob. cycled key no difference...get home and drums off, startup nothing. WTF, called dealer said bring it in...Called them up later and said there was nothing they could do. Gave a printoff of a bullentin(PI01953 April 7 '04) from GM saying they are currently working on a software fix for this problem, not to replace a ABS module...I know ive read other posts where folks have had this come on, but cant find them.....What was your resoulton??
Im confused also on in the description it states that the "root cause maybe customer cranking the diesel engine prior to the glow plugs being 100% resulting in a low voltage condition w/the battery." Then it goes on to talk bout the software thing...Are they saying that we (drivers)arent waiting long enough before cranking, or that there is a problem w/the glow plug system in our truck?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

Had very similar problem. I found a TSB somewhere that said to reprogram the BCM (Brake Control Module). My dealer didn't believe me either untill I shwed them the TSB and threatened to call GM directly. They took my truck in and reprogramed the BCM and what do you know, no more park brake light indicators in the display......
