It's getting cold and now the fan/blower doesn't blow. When I move the dial from defrost to floor I can hear a whisper that sounds like the vents changing positions but no fan.


Any suggestions on what is wrong what to check?

Post your year. I have an '01 book, but probably is same for most yrs. Start with fuses. Search for another post by me re blower high speed not working.

Try the blower motor resistor, (if your fuses are OK) on my o3 it's under the plastic sheild that covers the heater assembly inside the truck. It is a thing with a bunch of wires going to it and two that come from it and go to the blower motor. About $14.00 15 minutes to change. They have a tendancy to melt down and you lose various fan speeds. The new one is a much better design.
