Would it be possible (and not to much trouble), to create a tune that pulls hard through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear and then backs off to a safer level in 4th and 5th gear?

I may get my tranny built later but was considering EFI live now instead of my current hypertech programmer. I'd love to make 50 more horses through the lower gears and then have it back down to what my hypertech tune does in 4th and 5th gear.

This would be pretty cool if it could be done. I'd also like to know if the truck could have the same nice driveability that it has now (with the hypertech).

It's all in your foot. The tuning doesn't really matter which gear you are in. If you want it lame on the 4-5 shift then it's pretty much lame for any other shift.
