Can anyone give me some advise or experience with the
Mile Marker electric winches?? I am about ready
to buy my first winch, but I just don't know if I can
afford a Warn . I am looking at the 12,000 lb. mile
mark. Winchdepot.com has a great price on it. Or would I be
better off buying a Warn with a lesser rating if my budget
prevents me from spending more??

I have heard a few good things about MM , but don't know anyone who actually has one.

Mile rates on a 60% incline while warn is 40%.

I think a warn 15 is equal to a mile 12.

PC is that for their electric winches? Or just the hydros?

Warn--Lifetime Limited Warranty

MM-2 Year Limited Warranty

A Warn 15,000 pulls 15,000. No fuzzy math. MM was
sued for false claims and had to withdraw advertisements from magazines
for this.

Warn has a new line of economic winches -look under "value series". http://www.warn.com/truck/winches/value_series.shtml

They have a very large network of repair centers for customers
after the sale. I called for a part on an ATV winch that was out
of warranty and had the part sent for no charge. Very good
people to deal with.

Ramsey and SuperWinch make fine products, too and are worth looking at.
