Fabtech is producing upgraded idler and pitman arms, tierods, and a duel steering stabilizer for the 2500HD.

Called Fabtech and they said that dealerships are also lining up to purchase these in mass quanti****.

My ideler and pitman arms are shot again after only 4000 miles. I may just wait and try these out.

Yea, you also have to take into consideration how much they are zooming in on their arm when you are trying to compare size!

The Fabtech's are supposed to be being shipped as we speak.....I personally don't see a gain from using what is above as the enhanced parts on the new ones are not in the areas that are failing on the stock components. If the joint is somehow larger and just deceiving in the picture, it would be worth it.....but if it's just more material in the arm itself.....I think it's a waste. The tie-rods coming will be interesting to see.....although I doubt they will beat the deal of the SD at $75 to your door....and they won't be out until then end of January from what I was told.

Fabtech has been R&Ding the pitman/idler arms for a couple years now. I ran into a guy that was testing them and I can tell you this design is a far cry from what the original ones looked like. Only advantage I can see at this point is POSSIBLY a larger ball joint and a zerk fitting. I'm not sure it will make that big of an improvement, we'll just have to wait and see.
