Sierra 5150

This question was asked by another member earlier this year and wasn't really answered. And yes I did do a search.
But first, I am not after suggestions for any after market exhaust solutions such as MBRP, Borla, Corsa & etc....
Now the question: Has anyone used either version of the GM "off road" catalytic converter delete pipes with the factory muffler?
If so, how much did it increase the noise in the cabin? I am not after more noise but am willing to deal with some additional noise as a result of using this pipe. Please post experiences with either of these pipes used in conjunction with the factory muffler . And yes I do know there are cheaper alternatives to these GM parts but call me crazy I am willing to pay for this part hence the "5150 in my name. Part numbers listed below.
Thanks:D

johnathan, You did a cat-delete with the stock muffler?

I'm probably going this route but would like some input.

Good stuff. Thanks bud!

On this note though, does using a cat delete make the Check engine light come on on the Cal Emissions trucks? I think I remember reading this somewhere.
