Ive been having trouble with my clutch not completely disengaging when the pedal is depressed. I have replaced, bled and re-bled the slave cylender and master cylender. Im only feeling pressure on the pedal in the lower half of the clutch pedal throw. Im wondering if the prob is in the clutch itself. Tonight I compared the clutch fork position with that of my brothers 89 manual chevy (same BH and hydrolics) that works wonderfully. His clutch fork is 5/8" closer to the slave cyl than mine at rest and has twice as much range of movement, from clutch disc engaged to disengaged, as my clutch fork does. The range of movement on my clutch fork is a total of 1/2" and this does not completely disengage the clutch.
The position of my clutch fork at rest is at the rear of the inspection hole on the BH while my brother's is more twards the front half of the inspection hole. Can anyone compare this to their truck's clutch fork at rest and the total range of movement of their clutch fork? It would take two min and a 15mm wrench. Im having a hard time deciding if the prob is the hydrolics or the clutch itself. Thanks, matt
