Got a set of Firestone Destination M/T's on order. I decided to go with the 285s. Anything I need to know about or trim or anything of the sort? Thanks.

emerick - you can expect to have to trim the lower valance on the front bumper...Other than that, should be a big issue.....About 5 minutes with a die grinder, and away you go

What about the painted lower valance on the GMC's....??

I'd be more leery about cutting on it than the gray one on the Chevrolets. Can't you just crank the torsion bars a little and not have to trim?

I trimmed my painted one and it came out Ok. I didn't crank up the T-bars at all and I'm having a slight rubbing problem on the rear sides of the tires at full lock. they're hitting the inner fender splash guard.

When I run these the t-bars will be cranked being these are my plowing tires so I guess I will see what happens.

I wonder if you would still have to trim with factory rims and cranked T-bars? I thought you didn't....
