I just bought a GMX-320 lockpick from coastaltech. What is a good back up camera? I have seen them range from $22.99 on ebay (+shipping) to $200 from online stores. I want a nice one with a good picture, waterproof and nightvision. Any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks, Cue

I'll be doing the same thing too, how do you like the lockpick?
I was looking at this one

I use the Pioneer camera and am very happy with it day and night, here is the link - http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Y6y4uVNCPBb/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=277650&I=130NDBC2&search=Universal+rear%2Dview+camera

I have not installed it yet. Waiting to pick out a camera so I do not have to pull the dash twice. It was pretty expensive $400 shipped. Easy sell to the wife, she wanted to be able to watch a movie from the passenger seat along with my daughter in the rear seat.

I have the license plate frame camera from XO. Works great, low light is good as well.

PM me if you want URL or check my garage.

dlewis, is that XO camera wired or wireless?

wired. includes about 15 feet of cable. there is about 2 ft of wire coming off the frame then a connector & another 12 -15 ft of cable. Dash end has rca composite video and 12 volt and ground wire.

This way you can start the wire at the dash end and fish it back to rear of vehicle and then connect to frame. works nice.

Well I bought a camera at Best Buy for $99. It is a cmos, not sure what the difference between it and the ccd is. Also realized it does not have night vision. Is night vision necessary? Or do the back up lights put out enough light at night to see?
