I wanted to stock up and buy several Fuel Filters, but I want to find the best price. Where do you get yours, and how much are you paying?

Lots of the vendors here sell them. I have purchased them from Merchant Automotive and Kennedy Diesel; they and many more on the site will be glad to take care of you.

As far as pricing, they typically run around $35.

I check the local auto stores...AC is cheapest at Chevy...just less than $30.

25$ each by the 6-Pack. A supporting Vender too.
Might pay a little shipping, but probably no tax.

I actually have a dealer in town that doesnt try to screw ppl on the fuel filters. I pick them up for just under 20 bucks. Now the spin on alli filter in a dif story. They charge like 30 bucks for it. So far just picking up the fuel filters from them is the best bang for buck and it doesnt require me driving forever and ever to get em.

I don't know the current pricing, but I bought a case from FleetFilter last summer for under $20/each including shipping. I'm sure that's gone up a little with fuel surcharges and higher prices for the materials to make the filter. Occasionally Napa runs a big sale and you can buy their Gold filters (same thing FleetFilter sells) for a pretty good price. IIRC, some guys bought them for around $18/each this spring on sale.

I stopped buying them in bulk, as I have 3 of the original filters still on my shelf since they changed to the bigger dual pleat. I do keep one of the old ones in the truck in case I have to swap it out on the road. The most I will buy now at one time is 2 filters. I do buy several Cat filters and change them out more often then the OEM filter.

I too have two of the old style. I carry one with me if I get a bad batch of fuel, I'd install that one for a short time to purge system, and then install the new style for another 10K.
If I came across someone broke down with a plugged filter, I'd give them the old style, and they could get back on the road.
If buying a 6 pak to get a better price, you could share some with a friend, and only keep a couple of spares.
